Main Responsibilities
- Perform system engineering for DDC or alternate technology projects, as requested
- Analyse the estimate for the sequence of operations
- Elaborate control diagrams
- Optimise project engineering prior to execution and propose improvements
- Support the team with the estimation of complex projects
- Prepare technical documentation for the client; plan design, technical specifications sheet
- Hold exchanges with the customer in the case of modifications during the course of the project
- Produce technical drawings for complex projects
- Offer help in the answering calls from technical support, as needed
- Stay up to date with knowledge regarding new products and technologies
- Attend training sessions given by suppliers and participate in industry meetings, seminars and trade shows
Requirements
- College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation or Automation and Controls
- 0-2 years of pertinent experience
- Experience with controls an asset
- Mastery of electrical concepts
- Good knowledge of design software and Visio
- Knowledge of systems such as Prolon, Johnson, Honeywell, Strato, KMC or Distech, an asset
