Main Responsibilities
- Work with the sales team in the preparation of estimates for control projects
- Advise customers in their choice of HVAC controllers
- Read and understand plans and specifications for control systems for estimation purposes
- Prepare cost estimates according to specifications and bid invitations
- Ensure to maximize the project’s success rate
- Help prepare additions to the terms and conditions, when required
- Ensure follow-up on quotes
- Coordinate pricing requests with vendors
- Prepare maintenance contracts and follow up with customers
- Work with the Team Leader on projects for other locations, if required
- Stay up to date with knowledge pertaining to new products and technologies
- Attend training sessions given by suppliers and participate in industry meetings, seminars and trade shows
Requirements
- College Diploma in Building Systems, Automation, Robotics or a related field
- Experience in HVAC/Controls field or in technical sales
- Knowledge of Johnson Controls, Honeywell Webs, Strato, Delta, Distech, KMC products an asset
- Good knowledge of the current office software
- Bilingual
