ProKontrol SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective July 1st 2025

Introduction

By "Opting In" to or using a “Text Message Service” (as defined below) from ProKontrol, you accept these Terms & Conditions.

This agreement is between you and ProKontrol or one of its affiliates. All references to "ProKontrol", "we," "our," or "us" refer to Le Groupe Techno Design BM Ltée, 1989 rue Michelin, Laval (QC) H7L5B7

DEFINITIONS

"Opting In," "Opt In," and "Opt-In" refer to requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, responding to, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages.

"Text Message Service" includes any arrangement or situation in which we send one or more messages addressed to your mobile phone number, including text messages (such as SMS, MMS, or successor protocols or technologies).

CONSENTING TO TEXT MESSAGING

By consenting to receive text messages from us, you agreed to these Text Messaging Terms and Conditions, as well as our general Privacy Policy (prokontrol.com/en/privacy) incorporated herein by reference. 

 

Types of Messages You Can Expect to Receive

ProKontrol will send you the following types of messages:

  • Order Updates: Updates regarding ongoing orders you have with ProKontrol
  • Project Updates: Updates regarding ongoing project you have with ProKontrol
  • Support Requests: Responses to your inquiries and support requests with ProKontrol

  • Message Frequency Disclosure

The frequency of messages may vary depending on your interactions with us.

Standard message and data rates may apply. 

How We Use Your Information

ProKontrol uses the information collected through SMS messages for the following purposes:

      • Communication: To send you updates, alerts, and other information related to our services.
  • Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.

Your Choices

You have the following choices regarding your information:

  • Opt-Out: You can opt-out of receiving SMS messages from ProKontrol at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive from us. 
  • Access and Correction: You can request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting any of our branches. Contact informaton for each branch can be found here.

For support, you can reply "HELP" to any message you receive from us. Alternatively, you can communicate with any of our branches for assistance. Branch contact information can be found here. 

 

  • ProKontrol Text Messaging Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy. We only use information you provide through this service to transmit your mobile messages and respond to you. This includes, but isn't limited to, sharing information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of mobile messages. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Nonetheless, we reserve the right always to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any law, regulation or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property. This Text Message Service Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Text Message Service and isn't intended to modify any general “Privacy Policy”, which may govern the relationship between you and us in other contexts.

 

 

E-SIGN DISCLOSURE

By agreeing to receive text messages, you also consent to the use of an electronic record to document your agreement. You may withdraw your consent to the use of the electronic record by replying STOP.
