Project Support Technician (Control HVAC)

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and electrical diagrams
• Prepare the necessary materials, tools, and equipment for assembly
• Perform the control panel build-up (drilling, assembling, etc.)
• Perform wiring according to industry standards
• Perform the configuration, test sequence and final adjustment phase for Prolon systems and other automation control systems
• Perform troubleshooting of specific projects and follow up with customers
• Support inventory management and validate cycle counting reports
• Assist in receiving/shipping, when required
• Support inside sales during high volume period and at lunchtime
• Support inside sales for issuing purchase orders, invoices, and order confirmations
• Support inside sales for follow-up on quotes, orders, parts, etc.
• Run various reports and perform system
  adjustments
• Assist in answering technical support calls, as required
• Help with the drawings on Visio
• Keep up to date in learning about new products
  and technology

Requirements

• College Diploma in electromechanics,
  Automation, or a related field
• 5 years of pertinent experience
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
• Comfortable using computers and handling reports
• Good knowledge of the current office software
• Bilingual
