Programming and Technical Support Technician (HVAC/Controls)

Main Responsibilities

• Revise project files and coordinate the data collection with the customer
• Analyse the operation sequences
• Develop control diagrams and prepare sketches
• Program the DDC controllers (“Bloc Programming”) and do the testing
• Assist customers with their start-up phase
• Support with technical issues regarding programming, specifications, start-up and other technical issues
• Provide technical support to customers as required, including troubleshooting, remote connection and service calls
• Prepare the technical documentations for customers: plan, sketches, technical grids, etc.
• Learn about new products and technology
• Attend training sessions given by suppliers and participate in industry meetings, seminars and trade shows
• Carry out maintenance and inspections of installed systems according to contracts

Requirements

• College Degree in Building Systems, Automation, Robotics or a related field
• 7 to 10 years’ experience in HVAC\Controls field
• Good knowledge of the current office software (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Bilingual
