Main Responsabilities

  • Collaborate with the management team to establish sales objectives and a development plan
  • Execute the development plan and maximize business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Maintain strong customer relationships aligned with ProKontrol’s customer approach
  • Solicit customers, analyze customer data, and maintain the customer database
  • Strive for customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and lead customer presentations (engineering firms, contractors, etc.)
  • Meet customers and assess their needs
  • Estimate projects (equipment, ProKontrol services, subcontractors) based on specifications and tenders
  • Prepare and/or review quotes as required
  • Present quotes to customers
  • Prepare project “extras,” submit quotes, and coordinate additional services with the Project Coordinator
  • Conduct follow-ups (quotes, project kickoff, completion, satisfaction)
  • Inform customers about new products and service offerings
  • Prepare and propose maintenance contracts when required
  • Ensure project profitability
  • Document customer interactions and update CRM records
  • Support and facilitate follow-ups on marketing campaigns
  • Refer customers to other team members when needed
  • Assist in identifying customers for mass mailings
  • Perform other related tasks
  • Stay current on new products and technologies

Requirements 

  • College degree in Building Systems or Management with relevant experience
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in HVAC control/regulation combined with sales experience
  • Experience with Business Central
  • Experience working for a multi-site employer
  • Bilingual – an asset
  • Strong knowledge of office software and operating systems (Windows, Excel)
  • Skilled in the use of modern technology (electronic planner, etc.)

Permanent • Full-time • Based in Markham

Salary range: $85,000–$105,000/year + potential commissions
