Main Responsibilities
- Analyze workshop drawings and electrical plans
- Assemble electrical components inside control panel
- Manufacture control panels (drilling, assembly, etc)
- Perform wiring according to industry standards (CSA and cCSAus)
- Assemble control panels according to workshop drawing specifications
- Install the control system for finalisation of the project
- Perform quality checks on products before final quality control testing
- Apply workplace health and safety rules
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area
- Perform any other related tasks
- Stay up to date with knowledge regarding new products and technologies
- Participate in training (internal/suppliers)
Requirements
- DVS in control panel assembly, Professional diploma in electricity or electromechanics – An asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Advanced knowledge of electricity concepts
- Ability to assemble a control panel
- Good manual dexterity (use of tools)
- Good physical condition
- Knowledge of common office software
